Jesse’s musical journey started at the age of 8 (originally on guitar) but soon switched to piano after only a few years of playing and has been hooked ever since. He continued to learn a wide variety of genres from a wide variety of teachers, those genres including Rock, Film and game, Pop and last but definitely not least Jazz. Jesse continues to pursue his passion for piano and music in general, acquiring a Diploma of music from the Canberra Institute of technology in 2024 and now studies at ANU completing a bachelor of jazz and contemporary piano.

Jesse’s iconic sense of humour, diverse musical upbringing and wide variety of past teachers has given him versatile tools that aid his goal, to accommodate to each students musical needs adjusting repertoire, technical work and the overall balance of work and fun (to put it simply) in order to foster a kid’s love for music, and therefore a drive to practice and improve.

Jesse also has a taste for Film and game music as mentioned before, and knows that kids do too!. Jesse is known to arrange songs from games, movies and TV shows to help make music more approachable for his students.
