In term 2, CMT will commence an AMEB-focused theory and aural class for instrumental students preparing for a practical exam. This class will cover things like general knowledge, theory related to your pieces and aural – all of which will be part of AMEB exams.

CMT is providing this class for FREE for enrolled AMEB candidates through CMT. The class will run from 6pm-7pm, Monday evenings in our Weston Creek studios from April 30 – June 18th (6 classes just in time for the first exams). The teacher is composition and theory specialist Leland Barnett.

Non-AMEB students can also participate at a cost of $60.00.

Leland is also available to teach individual theory students who wish to take theory exams, and composition students. Please let us know if you’d like to know more about that.
