Currently, he sits in first violin in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. He has also workshopped with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, Brad was asked to play alongside Foreigner in their 40th anniversary Australian tour. Brad was a Wesley Music Scholar between 2021 and 2024 and through the program’s support, co-founded the Ellery String Quartet which is in its fourth year of running. Notable performances include appearances at the National Folk Festival (2024, 2025), CIMF (2021, 2024, 2025), as well as a concert under the stars atop Mount Stromlo.
When it comes to teaching, Brad believes that everyone has the ability to play and enjoy music and wishes to bring that enjoyment out of every student by making lessons fun and interesting. He will always try to encourage students to try new things and not be afraid to make mistakes.
